LibreOffice

LibreOffice is an integrated office suite for personal productivity. It is compatible with most document formats and standards, and includes applications for writing documents, working with spreadsheets, creating drawings, and building presentations.

The suite includes Writer, Calc, Draw, and Impress, with shared document loading, saving, action handling, toolbars, menus, and status bars. It also has a drawing model, canvas rendering components, and a UNO framework used by extensions and macro scripting in StarBasic.

LibreOffice is open source and free to download, use, and distribute under copyleft licenses. It is backed by The Document Foundation, an independent community of enterprises, developers, and volunteers. TDF builds target Windows, macOS, and Linux runtime baselines.
