Ghost

Ghost is an open source publishing platform for blogs, newsletters, and membership sites. It is built for modern publishing workflows where a single site can handle articles, email distribution, and paid subscriptions without adding separate systems.

Ghost can be run through Ghost(Pro) or self-hosted with the official CLI tool. It includes a Content API, a theme layer built on the Handlebars templating language, and native integrations for connecting other apps and services to a site.

Ghost is maintained by the Ghost Foundation and released under the MIT license. Ghost(Pro) is a managed service with worldwide CDN, backups, security, and maintenance, while self-hosting is available for people who want to run their own instance.
