About UVdesk
UVdesk is an open-source helpdesk system built on Symfony and Backbone.js for customer support teams. It turns customer queries into support tickets and provides separate admin, agent, and customer login areas for managing service requests.
There are no limits on agents, groups, teams, customers, tickets, or mailbox integrations. Support teams work with agent privileges, ticket filters, saved replies, prepared responses, notes, ticket forwarding, attachments, and collaborators, while automated workflows and email notifications handle routine steps and spam blocking and reCAPTCHA cut down noise.
A support center portal gives customers a knowledge base and FAQ organized by articles, categories, and folders, plus custom branding, logo, and favicon. An API bundle and extension framework open the system to third-party apps. UVdesk installs on Ubuntu or Windows with Apache or NGINX, PHP 8.1, and MySQL, and also runs via Docker, Vagrant, or an AWS Marketplace AMI.
