About Trudesk
Trudesk is an open-source help desk and ticketing solution that keeps support work organized and simple. The Community Edition is the self-hosted product, built with Node.js and MongoDB, and is aimed at teams that want client communication in one place.
Real-time tickets sit at the core, keeping agents up to date without refreshing the page, and customers can submit tickets by email, which Trudesk pulls from a mailbox and converts automatically. Built-in private messaging lets agents and customers talk in real time, and customizable permissions control what each role can see and do.
Dashboards and reporting with visual graphs show where work is going, and a documented API supports third-party apps and plugins. Trudesk runs on any cloud provider, Docker, bare metal, or even a Raspberry Pi, needs Node.js 16+ and MongoDB 5.0+, and can enable Elasticsearch 8 for search.
