ProcessWire

ProcessWire is an open source CMS and CMF for building and maintaining websites and applications. It is designed to give more control over fields, templates, and markup, with an API meant to make content work easier at any scale. The interface is built for adding and updating content without a lot of friction.

It uses all custom fields and a secure foundation to connect content across a site. The API is central to working with content, and the system is meant to stay flexible for modern website and application content management needs. Installation starts by extracting the files to an HTTP accessible location and loading the URL in a browser.

ProcessWire has been in active development since 2010, with a directory of plugin modules that extend field types, input fields, and site behavior. It includes role-based access control and built-in multi-language features for translating content and the interface. It is self-hosted software installed on your own web server.
