About PrestaShop
PrestaShop is an open-source ecommerce web application built to give merchants and their customers the best shopping cart experience. Written in PHP, it runs a complete online store with a customizable storefront and a fully responsive front and back office for managing the catalog, orders, and day-to-day selling.
The platform is highly customizable. It supports all the major payment services, can be translated into many languages and localized for many countries, and extends through modules and themes, with developers able to override default components and behaviors. A complete Docker-based development environment is included for working on the source.
PrestaShop runs on PHP 8.1+ with any flavor of MySQL 5.6+, such as MariaDB or Percona Server, and recommends Apache or Nginx. The current stable line is version 9.0, with development for 9.1 underway on GitHub.
