About Plausible Analytics
Plausible Analytics tracks website traffic, goals, and conversions without cookies or persistent identifiers. It measures traffic rather than individuals, stores no personal data or IP addresses, and is compliant with GDPR, CCPA, and PECR. All key insights sit on a single page with no menus to navigate.
A tiny JavaScript tracker keeps pages fast and supports modern frameworks and SPAs, including pushState and hash-based routing. Codeless tracking covers outbound clicks, form completions, file downloads, and 404 pages. Goals, conversions, revenue attribution, and funnels build on custom events and dimensions. Live traffic shows what is happening in real time, weekly or monthly reports arrive by email or Slack, and stats export via API or CSV.
The managed cloud service processes all visitor data on EU-owned infrastructure in Germany. The self-hosted Community Edition is free and community supported. The stack uses Elixir, Phoenix, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, and React.
