Open Source Social Network

Open Source Social Network (OSSN) is social networking software written in PHP for running your own community site. It gives members user profiles, friend connections, and a shared space to post, share interests, and form relationships, with support for more than 20 languages to reach a global audience.

Members get profiles with cover and profile photos, friends and following, wall posts with likes and reactions, photo albums and a gallery, groups, blogs, live chat, and private messaging, plus notifications, mentions, and search. An admin dashboard handles user management, site settings, ads, themes, and installable components, and a WebServices API exposes the site to other apps.

OSSN installs into a web-server-writable directory and can be deployed via a web installer, Docker, a VM image, or an Ubuntu PPA. It is released under the Open Source Social Network License 4.0 and the Cryptographic Autonomy License 1.0.
