About Mopidy
Mopidy is an extensible music server written in Python. It plays music from local disk, Spotify, SoundCloud, internet radio, and more, controlled from any MPD or web client on your phone, tablet, or computer.
Add-ons extend what it can do and which sources it reaches, and it acts as the backend for many different clients rather than shipping a single bundled app. The same library and online sources stay accessible through any compatible client.
Mopidy is open source under the Apache License 2.0. Packages are available for Debian, Ubuntu, Raspberry Pi OS, and Arch Linux, plus macOS and manual installation, alongside a website, documentation, forum, and chat.
