About Lychee
Lychee is a free, open-source photo management system that runs on your own server or web space. It lets you upload, organize, and share your photos through a clean, fast interface that feels much like a native application, while keeping your pictures stored under your control rather than in a third-party cloud.
The library centers on albums you can manage and then share with others, so a personal collection or a body of work stays in one place that you own. Installation is quick, and the project keeps stable releases available so you can run the version you choose.
Lychee can be self-hosted on a server or shared web space, and an officially recommended Docker setup makes deployment straightforward. A Supporter Edition adds extra functionality on top of the core photo library for users who want more.
