About Captura
Captura is a Windows screen recording tool for screenshots, screencasts, webcam capture, and recording audio, cursor activity, mouse clicks, and keystrokes. It covers common capture tasks in one app, including full screen, selected screens, windows, and specific regions.
It can record screencasts as Avi, Gif, or Mp4, and it can capture with or without the mouse cursor. Audio can be mixed from the microphone and speaker output. It also has a command-line mode, configurable hotkeys, and support for multiple languages.
Captura has portable and setup builds, plus a Chocolatey install option. The project is no longer actively maintained, and a browser-based successor is available for use without installation. The code is MIT licensed.
