About yarr
yarr is a web-based feed aggregator for reading RSS in a browser or as a desktop application. It can run as a personal self-hosted server, and it also ships as a single binary for local use.
It stores data in an embedded SQLite database. Prebuilt binaries are available for Linux, macOS, and Windows, and the GUI builds include a tray icon. Command line builds are also available, and self-hosting uses auth, TLS, and server configuration flags.
yarr is distributed under the MIT license and includes Fever API support for connecting compatible mobile clients. The same small binary covers desktop use and self-hosted deployments on hardware you control.
