About VidCutter

VidCutter is a simple, modern video cutter and joiner for Windows, macOS, and Linux. It is built for quick edits, letting you trim out the parts you want and stitch clips together without learning a full video editor.

Footage previews through an mpv-based player, and FFmpeg handles the cutting and joining behind the scenes. Edits are organized into segments that can be saved and reopened as .vcp project files.

VidCutter runs locally with no account or service. It is distributed through Flatpak, COPR, Chocolatey, and Homebrew Cask, and released under the GPL 3 license.
