About UniBee
UniBee is open-source universal billing software for SaaS businesses. It manages subscriptions, invoices, transactions, refunds, products, plans, users, permissions, discounts, and reports in one system, positioned as an alternative to closed-source billing platforms like Recurly, Chargebee, and Paddle.
It creates, updates, and cancels subscriptions, automatically generates and sends invoices, tracks billable metrics, and reports on business performance. Webhooks deliver real-time account event notifications, an API integrates with existing systems, and a customer-facing user portal handles billing flows. Payment gateways include Stripe and PayPal.
It is licensed under AGPL-3.0 and ships in community and enterprise editions, with UniBee Cloud as a paid hosted SaaS. Standalone deployment uses Docker Compose, starting the database, Redis, and UniBee API containers.
