About Tutor
Tutor is the official Docker-based distribution of Open edX, for both production and local development. It is not a learning platform of its own: Open edX is the LMS, and Tutor packages it so you can deploy, customize, upgrade, and scale it instead of installing the platform by hand.
It runs Open edX entirely on Docker and works with Kubernetes. Tutor ships with 1-click installation and upgrades and comes batteries-included, with theming, SCORM, HTTPS, a mobile app, and custom translations. An extensible plugin architecture lets you add functionality, and a zero-click AWS image stands up a platform with no technical skill required.
Tutor is 100% open source and already used to deploy hundreds of Open edX platforms around the world. It is licensed under the GNU Affero General Public License, and Edly offers professional setup and management support as a paid service.
