About Tsuru

Tsuru is an extensible, open source Platform as a Service that makes application deployments faster and removes the need to think about servers. Developers write apps in the language of their choice and deploy them through the platform rather than managing infrastructure directly.

Apps are managed with the tsuru command-line tool and backed by add-on resources such as SQL and NoSQL databases, memcached, and Redis. Docker handles the build and run steps so deploys stay simple and fast, and Tsuru runs on Kubernetes.

It ships platform images for Python, Node.js, Go, Ruby, PHP, Perl, Lua, and Java. Tsuru is written in Go and released under the BSD 3-Clause license.
