About Tahoma2D
Tahoma2D is a 2D and stop motion animation tool for digital artists and animators. It descends from Toonz Studio Ghibli Version, originally developed in Italy by Digital Video and refined by Studio Ghibli across years of feature production, bringing that pedigree to a free, modern application.
In one program you can work on traditional 2D animation and capture stop motion sequences, so drawn and physical techniques live side by side in the same project. That makes it a flexible choice for animators who move between styles.
Released under a Modified BSD license, Tahoma2D can be used or changed freely for personal or commercial work. It runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux, with downloads available from the project.
