About T.C.E.D.I. OVMS
T.C.E.D.I. OVMS is a web-based visitor management system for enterprise internal use. Visitors check in from a browser front end, and the system records the visit for receptionist and administrator workflows.
It supports visitor check-in and check-out, direct badge printing, optional non-disclosure agreement signing before badge print, and a virtual keyboard for touch screens. Receptionists can monitor visitors in the facility and check out visitors who forgot to do so. Administrators get search and basic reporting.
The application is self-hosted on a web server with PHP and MySQL, with browser clients using HTML5 and JavaScript. Badge printing targets DYMO LabelWriter hardware through IPP, tested with CUPS. It is Apache-2.0 licensed and is derived from phpVisitorBadge Enhanced and phpVisitorBadge.
