About SimpleMindMap
SimpleMindMap pairs a JavaScript mind map library with mind mapping software. The library has no framework dependency, so you can build your own Web mind map product on top of it. A ready-made Web app, built on the library with Vue 2.x and ElementUI, runs as an online editor, opens local computer files, and can be self-deployed.
The client stores data locally, keeps it private, and works without a network connection. It handles mind maps, logic structure diagrams, organization charts, timelines, fishbone diagrams, and tables, with templates, more than a hundred built-in themes, custom and AI-generated themes, history versions, a presentation mode, hand-drawn style, outline editing, and search and replace.
Maps import from XMind, FreeMind, Markdown, Txt, and Xlsx, and export to PNG, XMind, SVG, PDF, Markdown, Txt, Xlsx, FreeMind, Mermaid, and Html. The library is open source under MIT, while the client and plugins are closed source. Client builds run on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
