ScanTailor Advanced

ScanTailor Advanced is an interactive post-processing tool for scanned pages. You feed it raw scans and it produces clean pages ready to print or assemble into a PDF or DjVu file. Scanning, OCR, and multi-page document assembly are left to other tools.

It handles page splitting, deskewing, adding or removing borders, and content selection, along with auto margins, dewarping, adaptive binarization, TIFF compression, output splitting, color segmentation, posterization, measurement units, and guides. Multi-threading speeds up batch processing across large sets of pages.

This fork merges the ScanTailor Featured and Enhanced versions, adding new fixes, light and dark color schemes, and German, Polish, French, and Korean translations. It runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux, with .deb and AppImage builds attached to GitHub Releases.
