About RespectASO
RespectASO is a free, open-source ASO keyword research tool for macOS. It helps iOS developers research App Store keywords locally without sending keyword data to third-party services, and it avoids accounts, API keys, and tracking.
It uses the public iTunes Search API and runs entirely on your machine. The app provides keyword popularity scores, difficulty analysis, competitor breakdowns, and download estimates. A native Mac app downloads as a .dmg, and the data lives in a local SQLite database and app support folder.
RespectASO is AGPL-3.0 licensed and built by Respectlytics. A Docker Compose setup provides the free web edition for self-hosting on any platform, while the native macOS app adds Pro features on top of the same local data.
