About REAL Video Enhancer
REAL Video Enhancer is a desktop app that interpolates and upscales video on Windows, Linux, and macOS. It handles jobs like doubling 24 FPS footage to 48 FPS and upscaling 1080p to 4K, and can also decompress and denoise video.
Scene-change detection keeps cuts sharp instead of smearing across transitions, and a live preview shows the latest rendered frame as a job runs. Interpolation uses models such as RIFE, GMFSS, and IFRNet, while upscaling draws on models including SPAN variants, OpenProteus, AnimeJaNai, AniSD, and AnimeSR.
Inference runs on TensorRT, PyTorch, or NCNN to suit different GPUs. It is available for Windows, Ubuntu 22.04+ as an executable or Flatpak, and macOS 15+ on Apple Silicon and Intel, and runs entirely on your own machine.
