About QRding
QRding is a self-hosted QR code generator for codes you can print and place wherever a scan is useful, instead of leaning on a hosted service. It is built around templates for the data people share most often.
The templates cover WiFi credentials, vCard contact cards, calendar events, generic links, and plain text. For each code you can set the image size and color, embed a logo, and adjust the error correction rate. A hosted demo is available, and the project ships as a Docker image you can run with docker-compose.
QRding is released under the MIT License and is meant to be run on your own machine. The stated long-term direction is to add automation around QR codes, such as triggering custom actions on a scan and sending a reminder when an expected scan does not happen, though that work is not part of the current release.
