Pi-hole

Pi-hole is a DNS sinkhole that delivers network-wide ad blocking from your own Linux hardware. It protects every device on the network without any client-side software and blocks ads in non-browser locations such as mobile apps and smart TVs, so filtering stays entirely under your control.

A full command-line interface handles administration, while a responsive web dashboard shows query stats, charts, and top domains and lets you change settings. Pi-hole caches DNS queries to speed up everyday browsing, blocks over both IPv4 and IPv6, and can optionally run as a DHCP server so new devices are protected automatically.

It is free, open source, and maintained by volunteer developers, with a one-step installer or official Docker images for deployment. A built-in API provides live statistics such as queries and blocked domains, making it easy to integrate Pi-hole into dashboards and other projects.
