About NAPS2
NAPS2 (Not Another PDF Scanner) is a document scanning application built for simplicity. Scan paper documents from WIA, TWAIN, SANE, or ESCL scanners, then save them as PDF, TIFF, JPEG, or PNG.
You can organize and reorder pages before saving, and run optical character recognition with Tesseract to make scanned PDFs searchable. The app runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux, with native arm64 builds for newer Macs and Linux machines.
For developers, NAPS2 also ships NAPS2.Sdk, a scanning library that brings WIA, TWAIN, SANE, and ESCL support to custom applications on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
