About Mbin
Mbin is a decentralized content aggregator, voting, discussion, and microblogging platform for the fediverse. It connects communities that want threaded discussion and link aggregation while still participating in ActivityPub networks instead of staying on one site.
It communicates with Mastodon, Lemmy, Pixelfed, Pleroma, and PeerTube. It supports all ActivityPub Actor Types, including Service accounts, and accepts application/json on all ActivityPub endpoints. Server owners can use the Docker setup or a bare metal or VM installation path.
Mbin is a community-focused fork and continuation of kbin, governed under the Collective Code Construction Contract with no single maintainer. Server owners can self-host it with the improved Docker setup or a bare metal or VM install, and the interface is translated into more than twenty languages.
