About LibrePlan
LibrePlan is a free software web application for project management, monitoring, and control. Its desktop-like web interface lets every team member take part in planning, so the schedule stays current in real time across multiple projects and shared resources.
Resources cover both machines and workers, with reusable calendars and allocation by skill and role. Planning runs on a Work Breakdown Structure at several detail levels, with templates, automatic reallocation to reduce overload, manual daily-hour allocation, and Monte Carlo simulation for completion dates. Control adds earned value management, quality forms, cost analysis, progress tracking, materials, and outsourcing to subcontractors.
LibrePlan connects to other company tools through web services for import and export, with LDAP authentication and per-permission user accounts. It runs on Java 8 with PostgreSQL or MySQL, served by Tomcat 8 or Jetty, and is released under the GNU AGPL v3.
