About Haruna
Haruna is an open source video player for the Linux desktop, built with Qt and QML on top of the mpv playback engine. It pairs mpv's broad format support with a clean, configurable interface.
It shows a video preview on the seek bar, plays online videos through youtube-dl, and overlays a playlist on mouse-over. Chapter handling includes a quick jump to the next chapter and automatic skipping of chapters whose titles match certain words.
Keyboard shortcuts and mouse buttons are fully configurable, and custom mpv commands can run at startup or on a shortcut. Haruna is a KDE community project that runs entirely on your own machine.
