About Godot Engine
Godot Engine is a cross-platform game engine for creating 2D and 3D games from a unified interface. It ships a comprehensive set of common tools through a full visual editor, so you can focus on making games instead of rebuilding the basics, and your games stay yours down to the last line of engine code.
Games export with one click to the major desktop platforms (Linux, macOS, Windows), mobile (Android, iOS), web, and consoles. Official binaries are provided for the editor and the export templates, and the class reference is built right into the editor.
Godot is completely free under the permissive MIT license, with no royalties or strings attached. Development is fully independent and community-driven, supported by the not-for-profit Godot Foundation. It was open sourced in February 2014 after years as an in-house engine.
