GanttProject

GanttProject is a free project management app for desktops. It plans work with task hierarchy, dependencies, milestones, and baselines, and tracks who does what with a resource load chart and task cost calculation.

The Gantt chart can also generate a PERT chart. Projects export to PDF, HTML, and PNG, and exchange data with MS Project, Excel, and other spreadsheet apps. Teams collaborate over WebDAV or through GanttProject Cloud, a commercial hosted service.

GanttProject is free and open-source software under the GNU GPL v3. The desktop app builds and runs on Linux and macOS, and the core can be run without its export and import features.
