About Fluent Reader
Fluent Reader is a desktop RSS reader for Windows, macOS, and Linux. It brings feed subscriptions into one local app, with the option to read locally or sync with RSS services. It suits users who want a desktop feed reader rather than a web-only service.
Subscriptions can be grouped in folder-like collections, imported or exported as OPML, and covered by full data backup and restoration. Articles can open in the built-in article view or load webpages by default. Search supports regular expressions and read-status filters. Rules can hide, mark as read, or star articles as they arrive, while background fetching can send push notifications.
Sync works with self-hosted services compatible with the Fever or Google Reader API, plus Inoreader, Feedbin, The Old Reader, BazQux Reader, and more. Fluent Reader is built with Electron, React, Redux, Fluent UI, Lovefield, and Mercury Parser, is BSD-licensed, and is distributed through app stores and GitHub releases.
