About Flame

Flame is a self-hosted startpage for your server that acts as a simple application hub. It helps you organize apps and bookmarks in one place and avoids file editing for day-to-day changes.

You can create, update, and delete apps and bookmarks from the interface, pin items to the homescreen, and use an integrated search bar with local filtering. It includes 11 web search providers, custom provider support, authentication for settings and content, custom CSS, 15 built-in color themes, a custom theme builder, a weather widget, and Docker integration that picks up apps from container labels.

Flame runs with Docker and Docker Compose, with multi-arch images for ARM boards such as the Raspberry Pi. It supports Docker Secrets through _FILE environment variables and can also read app and bookmark entries from Kubernetes ingress annotations.
