About Ardour
Ardour is a digital audio workstation for recording, editing, and mixing multitrack audio. It brings tracking, arrangement, and final mixdown together in a single workspace for music, podcasts, and post-production.
You can record live performances, track vocals, and produce beats, then arrange and mix everything on one timeline. Ardour works with JACK for audio routing and hosts LV2 and VST plugins, with MIDI support for sequencing and control.
Ardour runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux, and is free and open-source. It is built for sessions where you need precise control over every track from capture through to the finished mix.
